Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Mosion uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and device identifiers) on our website and apps, why we use them, and how you can manage them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as browser local storage and device identifiers, on our website and apps. Together, these help the service remember you, keep you signed in, protect your session, and understand how the service is being used.
How we use them
We group them by purpose:
- Strictly necessary — to sign you in, keep your session secure, remember your ticket and entitlement state, and bind and protect your playback. The service cannot work without these, so they do not require consent.
- Preferences — to remember choices such as your settings and a stable playback device identifier, so you do not have to set them again.
- Analytics — where used, to understand in aggregate how people use Mosion so we can improve it. We currently rely primarily on first-party, aggregated measurement rather than third-party advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies for advertising or to sell your data.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies or similar technologies are set by partners who help us run Mosion — for example, our payment provider Flutterwave during web checkout. These are used only to perform their role in the service and are governed by those partners’ own policies. Purchases made through the mobile apps use the app stores’ own billing (Google Play on Android), which operate under their own terms.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their settings, and mobile operating systems let you manage app and advertising identifiers. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or watching films. These controls apply per browser and per device, so you may need to set them in more than one place.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Any changes will be reflected by the date above, and material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
